Live music in Stockholm in the near future

In the very near future actually, since Berger Knutsson Spering is doing a rare gig at the nice spot Babylon at Medborgarplatsen this saturday. Then we are joined on monday by our favorite guitar player Max Schultz for a gig at Glenn Miller Café. We will record together later this spring

Our new club Old and New Dreams on the last saturday every month is a hit. The idé is that two elderly musicians and two young ones play together and that middle aged are banned from this stage, anyway they have all the good gigs.

Pandit Sadanand Naimpalli

Stockholm and Helsinki will be guested by one of the great tablawalas in april. Gurubhai Sadanandji will teach here, and I think we will try to set up some solo concert for him as well.

Pekkos Gustav and Ellika Frisell

Later, in may, we will release  an album of very traditional Swedish folk music with Ellika Frisell and the late maestro Pekkos Gustav, recorded in his kitchen quite a few years back. At the same time the album with Spjärnsvallet will be released on vinyl.
