Four new C&E releases coming up! – October 2014 Newsletter

All of the Country & Eastern releases in 2014 arrive in November this year. One great jazz album, one album of music pedagogic explorations with stress on MUSIC, one historic and up to date prog-jazz album and one historic recording of one of the great Karnatic singers, a full concert caught live on a 3 cd set. How about that for high class diversity!

We will present the albums one at a time during the next week or so, but here is the October Newsletter and dates for releases and concerts:
November 8: Xylofonorkestern presents the album “Stora Blå” and Spjärnsvallet presents “Again and Again” in a double concert at Las Vega, Stockholm.
November 12: Release date for Thomas Jäderlund Amazing Trio’s “Plays Jazz” but they have their release concerts at Glenn Miller Café in Stockholm on November 18-19 and at Nefertiti in Gothnburg on the 20th where they are joined by Spjärnsvallet in another double release concert.
Sangeetha Kalanidhi Neduneri Krishnamurthy‘s fabulous 3 cd-album “For Tradition, Turn to Nedunuri” with a complete Karnatic concert of three and a half hours has its international release on december 1 but we are happy to have a release function in Chennai, India on december 21. The venue is still to be announced. So please find out about these terrific albums.
