Sånger om Kvinnor (Songs about women)

“The album got a Grammy in 1972”

This was an album released in 1971 and focusing on women’s life and situations, loosely driven by the Swedish women’s lib group Grupp 8 with Susanne Osten and others. Many women are singing but ironically the musicians were all men.

The album got a Grammy in 1972 and was re-released on LP and CD in 2009 and songs from it has figured in quite a few anthologies
