Ori Variations

Thomas Gustafsson - Elisabeth Engdahl

“Ori, a place where the DNA is duplicated and life begins”

Niklas Rådström’s words from their first album are still valid:

”All around are to be found empty acoustic rooms and silent organ pipes waiting to be filled with new music. Churches are increasingly-important concert venues and with these pieces Elisabeth Engdahl and Thomas Gustafsson have created music to fill the vaults with sounds to vibrate far beyond their walls.”

Elisabeth Engdahl and Thomas Gustafsson are releasing their second album for soprano saxophone and church organ on August 24 2017. This time the music is all written and recorded by Thomas on July 1 and 2,  2016 in the Church of Fässberg, Mölndal, Gothenburg where they will play a concert on October 15.
