Nävgröt

The Swedish composer Gunnar Valkare studied ethnomusicology in East Africa and learned a lot about the fascinating zig-zag technique playing of the Amadinda, the big East African xylophone. He had a group called Nävgröt that I cooperated with occasionally. Nävgröt recorded a self titled album in Waxholm in 1980
