Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar had trained Sridhar since early childhood so you can be sure of getting the purest classical Hindustani music from the Dhrupad tradition. Here is Sridhar’s Shudd Todi, a raga best listened to in the early morning, In fact, as preparation for a theatre play at the Swedish theatre group Unga Klara in 1991, Sridhar was leading a yoga workshop – one morning we played a concert for the ensemble and staff. Here it is!
